Cookies

Harvest Updates, Newsletters, and CSA Schemes
If you sign up to receive our harvest updates, or if you opt-in to our future newsletter or Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) schemes, we collect your email address and name.
- Lawful Basis: We process this data strictly based on your explicit consent, which you provide by actively ticking an un-pre-ticked opt-in box on our signup forms.
- Purpose: We use this information to notify you when farm produce is available for order, and to send you updates regarding our newsletter or CSA membership options. We will never sell or rent your contact details to third parties.
- Your Right to Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe from these updates at any time. Every marketing or update email we send will contain an explicit “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to be removed.
Processing Sales and Customer Orders
When you buy products from our website, we collect the information necessary to fulfil your order. This includes your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number.
- Lawful Basis: We process this data because it is necessary for the performance of a contract (to fulfil and deliver your purchase).
- Payment Processing: Your payment details (credit card numbers) are processed securely by our third-party payment gateways. We do not store your financial card data on our servers.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data
Harvest & Marketing Updates: We retain your email on our update list until you unsubscribe or request deletion. If you do not open any emails from us for [e.g., 24 months], we will automatically remove you.
Sales and Order Records: We retain your order history, invoices, and contact data associated with purchases for 6 years. This is a mandatory requirement under Irish Revenue tax laws for financial record-keeping.
Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Customer transaction and payment data is securely sent to our payment processor.
